How the coach works

Short, timely nudges appear based on your progress.

  • The floating panel surfaces the most relevant next step.
  • It updates automatically as you upload resumes, add jobs, and analyze results.
  • You can drag it, minimize it, mute sounds, or turn it off anytime.
Power users
Toggle the coach in the left sidebar. Once you know the flow, minimize it and bring it back only when needed.

Coach steps in order

Expect these milestones as you work through an application.

  1. Let’s get a resume — Upload your first resume.
  2. Process resume — Make the uploaded resume primary and process it.
  3. Let’s add a job — Add a job by URL (AI) or paste the description.
  4. Analyze job — Compare your resume to the job requirements.
  5. Refine your CV — Review the analysis and start refining.
  6. Address gaps or refine now — Capture proof or move straight to tailoring.
  7. View refined CV — Download a version targeted to the role.
  8. Refine again or add another job — Repeat to build your application portfolio.

Use Address Gaps to add proof fast
Click Address Gaps from analysis. Answer with short, specific examples. The system turns these into facts used during tailoring.
Minimize when writing
Keep the coach minimized while editing long bullets. It will still update when you complete steps.
