Upload a resume

Import your primary resume so analysis and tailoring have structured data to work from.

How uploads are parsed

From PDF/DOCX to structured resume JSON.

  1. We extract raw text and layout signals from your file.
  2. An LLM parser structures sections, bullets, dates, and skills.
  3. Ambiguities (like overlapping dates) surface later in analysis for review.
Best format
Upload a text-based PDF (not a scan). Use standard fonts and avoid multi-column layouts for the highest parsing accuracy.

Upload step-by-step

Use the Resume page to add a file.

  1. Go to Resume from the left sidebar.
  2. Click Upload and select your PDF or DOCX file.
  3. Wait for the upload to complete and the viewer to render.

Resume database & managing multiple resumes

Access your resume library and upload additional versions.

The Resume Database page gives you a centralized view of all your uploaded resumes. You can manage multiple versions, set a primary resume, and quickly switch between different resume variants for different job types.

  1. Click on Resume Database in the left sidebar to view all your uploaded resumes.
  2. Each resume card shows the title, upload date, and processing status. Click the Upload button in the top right to add a new resume.
  3. You can set any resume as your primary (active) resume by clicking the action menu on each card.
  4. Upload as many resume variants as you need—each one is stored and ready for analysis.
Organizing your resumes
Give each resume a descriptive title like "Product Manager - Tech Focus" or "Operations Lead - Healthcare" to quickly identify which version to use for each application.

Upload tips

Multiple versions
Keep a master resume and variants for key role types (e.g., product, ops). Tailoring works best when your base is strong and current.
